January 29 beginning of fourth week IAtoday was a tiring day. mo la la say wanna go kallang eat 'dou jiang you tiao' i tot was a joke. we ended up in kallang =.=" couldnt find d shop. from lorong 8 walk till lorong 25, took more than 30 mins, looks like another joke? nope. this is for real T_T hungry stomach calling out for help aiks~~ =\ wanted to eat in dou jiang you tiao small king but ended up in dou jiang you tiao big king. few ppl only n d service wasnt tat gd. food 2 was not really any special from others. soya bean still tasteless. kept adding sugar @.@ in d end we din finish (actually i finished my portion XD a bit proud keke~~) wont probably walk another 30 mins plus back to mrt so we took bus. saw a cockroach running ard d bus stop. it then decided to cross d busy street of geylang. 'bu zhi bu jue' i hv no sight of it. wonder where it went XD
even in broad daylight still cannot c his face XD ops its nite time actually =X jk~~
ms. jia xin n her more-than-10-bites herbal tea egg. still hvnt finish half of her egg leh. walao~~ i don need 10 bites also can finish tat egg le lol~~
3 of us always venture out late at nite. this time was a bit exaggerated lol~~ came back ard 10 plus XD
sat went bugis with qiqi, tingting, worm n baojing. nite time steambaot with juniors n same batch XD happy hours tgt.

after dinner came back watch 'saw 4' in hui min's room. first time saw a room cleaner n more tidy than mine T_T shocked!!! sunday spent time cleaning up my owm room =p

working in philips was not bad, especially working with d ppl there. nice ppl. nice colleagues. nice working exp. XD today as usual my supervisor has nothin for me to do hence 'lend' me to another supervisor for temporary 'usage' lol~~ well, its better than rusting in d office =p morning was cutting card boards. noon packing up boxes n finding for faulty ones. saikang? yeah some say so but its better than sitting on d desk doing nothin. cannot msn n limited access to websites =\ so how to make my work more interesting?

after work was our friday outing yeah!!! initial plan was bedok for dinner then kallang for supper lol~~ but don know y everyone got down at city harvest then we decided not to go so far after all. had dinner @ jap village. then went jp to celebrate zhi wei's bday @ coffeebean. 1/3 of philips' IA students attended. one day we'll get everyone out tgt =)
after d celebration went for a movie. saw 'the mist' i find it very very meaningful. but like i said everyone has their own POV. chee ho n jia xin find d show not nice simply becos its not logical =.= this explains y they r both in mechatronic stream XD to me none of d show is logical, but the story is more impt. how d director created suspence n foresee d future of our mother earth is d main attraction to me. other than tat, how a person makes decision, will it really happen, how they brought d "mist' into d world etc. really inspired me. who knows one day it might really happen to our world or there will come a time when a person needs to make a tough decision, even decisions which involve live n death. will u believe in God? or would u kill ur beloved ones in a situation where u know there'll be no hope for human kind? somethings u just don get to exp urself so just learn from wat others exp-ed b4. sometimes i also get too focused on d show tat i imagined myself in d same situation, tat's y i can be scared of horror movies while my friends keep laughing =.="
started reading a book i borrowed from adm lib few months ago XD 'design your self' was d title of d book. not bad. learned bout dematerialization today. generally speaking, downsizing refers to eliminating anything in ur life tat is stressful, unnecessarily time consuming, or detrimental. ask urself 3 simple qns:
i. do they provide an impt or reliable function or performance in my home?
ii. do they hv real meaning for me? m i emotionally connected to them?
iii. do they add beauty to my life?
after gg through this chapter hopefully d next time i buy things i'd be more concious with my spending =p January 22 beautiful mistakeaiks~~ whole body still aching =\ ytd was d malaysia sports day. took part in track n captain ball. initially had no idea wat was captain ball just anyhow took part XD ok so it was not bad though my height was a disadvantage lol~~ get to know a lot of new friends. nice 2 meet everyone =) initially not even a single person on court tat i know =X but luckily my teammates were nice ppl =p
evenin was track event. was lookin forward to it. however it was also d most beautiful mistake ever made on track. wat was d big deal? i passed a baton to NUS team =.=" a mistake tat wont happen in official track relay ::eyes drop:: not even d slightest chance. i nvr even made such stupid mistake during my 6 yrs in sec school nor did i ever tot such things would happen T_T unfortunately... it happened.
losing at 3rd position, managed to overtake to first, but when reaching my teammate i noticed d person in front was in red. weird, my teammate should be in white t-shirt but d person in white was standing at d out-most lane. anyway, d person in red handed out his hand n i passed him d baton. then i heard d person in white shouting "I hv no baton!!! I hv no baton!!!" i was totally STUNNED!!! wat d heck? then only i realized he was my teammate. OMG!!! i was really speechless cos according to official rules d person whose teammate is leading stands in d in-most lane. but y my teammate is standing in d out-most lane? i was leading at first not last ok so should stand in in-most lane. think everyone was not well brief-ed. i wasnt even allowed to start outside d passing baton zone, which i did for 6 yrs in my sec school days =\ sad but also sry to my teammates. we could hv gotten first instead of fourth =\ no appetite for d nite. skipped dinner.
sat went tampines to meet up with aunty karen. then went to meet up with my bro @ d floorball court. wanna thx my aunt for treating balithai n also for my "BEAUTY" =)

January 19 in memory of grandpa16/1 (Wed) - i got a call from my dad during office hr. he ask me to rush back to kl with my bro. he said my grandpa might hv another day to live. we took d nite bus reach there bout 2am. he left us.
my grandpa was a great person but his late days were not tat gd. i got to know he was 1 of d founders of Nam An Low Association. He owns his own business, but started from scrap. He rarely talks, same as my dad, maybe also applies to me. just hope he lives happily in heaven.
 18/1 (Fri) - today was d burial ceremony. went Nilai memorial park via bus. nice to meet my cousins. long time no c. long time no chat. everyone was busy. we hardly get to talk to each other. cousin edmund will be leaving for aus next month. 3 other cousins ald staying there. so today was d only chance we gathered. next time i wonder if there's any more chances.
on d way back to sg, dropped by at cs. bought a shirt n had kfc with my bro. d sales gals at d shop where i bought my shirt was pretty, but suddenly one said " tu tu~~" =.=!!! n my whole impression was like OMG!!! r u kidding me? ::sweat:: d sales gal at ground floor was better but also stunned me. while looking through d clothes, one said "hello~~" (in a polite manner) n i just looked at her don know how to react XD "hello"? shouldnt they say "can i help u" or "do u need any help"? aiks noob me~~
suddenly recalled bp's article bout appreciating d things we hv. from a simple bun to money, sometimes i just feel bad when treating myself 2 gd. though my mum said its gd to treat myself nicer cos i'm on attachment, but sometimes don know y will somehow feel bad =\ haiz... life~~ i'll just continue workin at adm to compensate~~ January 15 updated blogs14/1 - Day 6
headache. i wonder if its becos i went out 2 frequent last week n din hv enough rest. very... very... cold =\
today finally hv things to do, though morning still readin d mechatronic thesis which i still hv no clue wat was it all bout. heard my supervisor was same as hh's, n yeah rite, i was really slacking in office. d student advisor said "保重" as i might not be assigned a single task after 6 months of IA T_T luckily, today he 'lend' me to another department to help out. better than nothing. helped my friend's supervisor to take some pics of d iron lib 2 =p
13/1 - City square woke up @ 8plus to play tennis. not feelin well 2. stil went cs with chee ho to grab some offers n got a hair cut. nice hairstylist, great advice. might consider dying hair 1 day =p bought a zinc bag with this little devil on it. cute XD came back ard 10 plus. celebrated kok hon n joey's bday. happy bday to both of them =)
12/1 - CCK & Bugis went lot 1 in cck with john. headed to bugis after that. din buy anything, but had a wonderful steamboat though only d 2 of us XD bumped into jicheng n his friends there 2 =p on d way back, in mrt, this indian guys 'hug' d pole while my hand was still on it. faster "san3'. was later standing in front of him. he vomitted. luckily he used his hand to cover up else my shirt will kena XD
11/1 - Day 5 as usual, nothing to do in office. other supervisor got me to do some dismantling work (aka 'saikang' lol~~) then throw d dismantled parts away. went vivo after work. crazy us XD reach there bout 7 plus. saw boogeyman 2. find it quite scary but d moral was there. ch n jx find it boring lol~~ had dinner @ white dog cafe. ended up paying 75 bucks for 3 person @.@ nothing really special but my pizza was not bad =p
10/1 - Day 4 as usual. dismantling irons n reading report. sien!!! went jp n had kfc for dinner. thx chee ho for d treat XD
tat's all. wanna thx my bro for bringing d panadol for me =) January 09 IAd once anticipated Industrial Attachment finally started. first day woke up ard 5.30am n got myself packed up n ready to meet d challenge ahead. met chee ho, yaoyao, jicheng at d busstop. surprisingly, we also met MINGWEI at d busstop. walao eh!!! woke up so early just to take pics of us gg to work? @.@ cant believe it =.=" 8.30am reach Philips HQ @ toa payoh. mechanical students really wore casual wear, while EEE students wore formal attire =.=" =.=" so big diff lol~~ i wore semi-formal btw XD d briefing was fast, n we were already planning for a movie after d briefing, only to know tat we had to reach jurong branch after d briefing =\ sad leh... we had a quick lunch n rushed to jurong branch soon after. 29 students, big group of ppl, but none of my interest, don even need to think bout d ppl in d office T_T first day was simply slackin, d supervisors brought us ard n intro us to their projects n employees. everyone was kind n cheerful, including my colleagues =)
today is day 2. still slackin~~ went to find supervisor more than 5 times today, only got to find him after d 6th or 7th time T_T he said currently nothing for me to do. wanted to gv me some notes to bring back to study but suddenly ask d other supervisor to take us to d library ( a.k.a. d store room ) to do some clean up T_T it wasnt really a bad thing (to look at d bright side i mean XD) at least i get to know tat companies actually buy products from other companies for research. d whole store room was filled with all sorts of brands of irons. after tat i took back some defect parts to gv to my teacher XD my teacher collects those for his teaching =p (ohya , just fyi, philips @ jurong only produces iron =.=" whole factory only hv irons, irons n more irons lying everywhere.)
b4 tat was disassembling 1 of d iron in d mechanical lab. my iron was d older model, rusty n dusty. d technician even ask me to throw everything after disassembly =.=" others were all disassembling d newer type of model =\ it isnt always d worst thing u can imagine, look at d bright side again, i get to 'destroy' d whole thing lol~~ my friends need to take extra care cos their models still work XD n they hv to assembly d model back to its original state keke~~ those parts unable to disassemble i simply just broke it hahaha~~ ps, d technician taught me to do so =p
today supervisor Dennis brought us ard d philips factory for a tour right after supervisor Lingge finished his safety briefing. FABULOUS!!! i like watching the process things being created therefore find those machining processes interesting hehe~~ (ohya Dennis always calls himself d bad guy in d company but we find him very interesting n kind XD he even reminds us to complain to him if any supervisor mistreat us, or if we don like our jobscope keke~~)
these 2 days were simply tiring. not becos of d jobscope, but becos of my stupid newly-move-in neighbours. i recognize 1 as d 'gang' tat stays at ground floor last time which plays mahjong late at nite n also 炸音乐 =.=" don really like their attitude 2. so last nite i was suppose to sleep at 12.30am. due to d vol my 2-doors-away neighbour played, i finally get out of bed n knock his door at 2.30am to ask for some consideration. 2 hrs listening to his movie, damn frustrated tat time. i'm a bit sensitive to noise at times XD but somehow i tolerated 2 hrrs n it continued so had to do something else second day will fall asleep in office =\ d other day was b4 d day i first went to work. so excited tat i slept at 12plus. weirdly, i woke up later n notice tat d time was only 1.30am. haiz stupid next door neighbour chit chatting so loud till woke me up =.=" bared till 2 plus also n finally decided to 'pay him a visit'.

d old iron disassembled by me =p January 05 know to gv n takesad to say but my sec school buddy is facing prob with his relationship i'd assume. long long story but i read through it after all. if it's another person i wouldnt care to scroll till d end of page XD anyway, like i said, long story, but in short it's becos of lack of caring from his gf. same old story. not for this friend only, but for a lot of couples i've known. second person i'm hearing this problem for this week. i've exp-ed it myself 2 =\ somehow just don understand y gals, not all but quite a lot i've seen wont care for their bf. strange huh? its like a trend now. i'd say they don like their bf as much as their bf like them. just my POV. everyone has theirs =) ::peace::
i've always admire my buddy for getting a pretty n capable gf, studying medicine or pharmacist if not wrong. not til this time i read his blog tat i knew they were actually facing probs =\ sad... but i'd say tat gals with higher edu tend to put less love n time into a relationship. guys will be there when their gf needs them, but gals will not neccesary be there when their bf needs them. prove me wrong someone? aiks no offence though, there r always exceptions =) i think gals need to know tat guys r always finding ways to cheer their gf. i mean most tat i know la =p today just talked to my buddy, he's already planning for valentines. i gav him some of my 'ideas' XD i had some as a result of constant day-dreaming hahaha~~ cant use them so might as well let others use lol~~ another cousemate even more amazing, plan for valentines few months ago le @.@ however their gf wont know this nor do i think they will plan valentines for their bf. maybe its also due to d fact tat most "complains" i heard r from guys so i'd assume guys gv more in a relationship. gals on d other hand hmm... don really understand them cos i hv no sis, but i tried my best browsing through some forums though tsk tsk XD

1st Jan 2008, went to work =.=" super duper 'sien' day. doors lock had to open side doors to enter adm. not a single soul in sight. got an eerie feeling 2 @.@ especially working late. left @ 11pm ++ outside dark dark, inside quiet quiet. scary man~~
at nite came back also bored in room haiz... went into forum to kill time. (sometimes can be addicted XD) found this topic quite interesting. gals saying being a guy is better, guys on d other hand say being a gal is better lol~~ both gender started debating XD interesting hehe~~ so which gender is better? in my POV i'd say both gender has their ad n disadvantage. of course i'd say most ppl wont understand d opposite gender so they'd say those. but i'll say sometimes just try to put urself in d other person's POV n think like he/she thinks, somehow u'll understand something =)
omg.. this reminds me of a person's blog i read recently, complaining bout another person, if its bout a bgr i'd say oh gosh~~ i wouldnt get a gf like this *no offence* XD just from my past exp. of course if it comes out of furiosity, i wouldnt mind cos sometimes i'd blog bout ppl tat angers me 2 =X =X but i'll delete it after all =p not worth it to leave such things as memories. i'd rather forget it. =)

today simply cant stay in hostel n sleep. how many times in a yr can u get to come out n meet d crowd XD XD XD yea ppl would think i'm crazy but somehow i like gg out during this time to enjoy =p hey, we're still young leh y not enjoy while we still can lol~~ my crazy thinking aiks~~ but we only hv 1 life right, when old le u wanna walk out also feel lazy le =\ so just enjoy while u still can =)
started calling n msn-ing ppl out. i got 4 others my side, king got 2 on his. went chinatown for dinner. clarke quay for nite view =p someone kept calling a 'normal friend' to 'wish happy bday' yea c d INVERTED COMMAS? just a 'normal friend' but choose a present also take so long, like choosing gf =.="
hmm, wat a present. i don recall buying 1 with such an obvious L.O.V.E. to a normal friend. =.=" my junior haiz... think i noob? lol~~
bumped into hong cheong, kok hon, 'wu zhun' n 2 other gals. saw ppl break dance @ clarke quay. FANTASTIC!!! lov it so much XD left b4 12 cos my friends don wanna squeeze with d crowd on d way home =p had supper @ d mamak opposite hall 4 =)

went cs with huihui, nice lunch @ kim gary. not-so-nice dinner @ sedap corner. d phad thai was erm....tasted weird =\ bought a new yr shirt. nice 1 yeah~~ like it so much. watch AVP2. definitely better than AVP1. more actions, nice graphics. impressed with d alien n predator models. well built n nice movements. lol~~ forget it if don know wat i'm talking. i think most ppl would just take it as another sci-fi movie, for us we would take note of other things like d models they built n how well d storyboard goes XD weirdo me lol~~ |
