d headache was so sudden n continuous even after takin 1 or 2 tablets of panadol. luckily today when i met up with my bro n told him bout my incident, he suggested it was because of d wisdom tooth, which made some sense n relieved me.
so here's some infos i got for wisdom tooth:
Wisdom teeth, formally known as third molars, are the four teeth farthest back in the mouth -- one on each side of the upper and lower jaw. Not everyone has wisdom teeth. About 85 percent of people between the ages of 16 and 20 have all four, some or all of which may be impacted, and 95 percent have at least one. The wisdom teeth are the last to come through. Nowadays people often have jaws that are too small for all 32 teeth - 28 are often the most we have room for. So if all the other teeth are present and healthy there may not be enough space for the wisdom teeth to come through properly.
Are there different types of impacted wisdom tooth?
Some teeth are fully impacted, failing to break through, or "erupt," at all, while others are partially impacted, with part of the tooth poking out through the gums. Sometimes an impacted tooth lies in the jaw at an angle instead of sitting straight up. Impaction is a term used in dentistry when a tooth is stuck under the gum and jawbone. It could be because it does not have enough space or it is positioned in such a way that is impossible to erupt in your mouth. Lack of space occurs because our jaws have become smaller (through evolution), we do not loose teeth through decay as frequently as in the past, and our diet is such that our teeth do not wear down as much. An impacted tooth could be completely or partially covered with bone, hence called bony impaction or it could be under the gum, and then it is called soft tissue impaction.

My husband was working in a hospital as an IT engineer, as the hospital is planning to set up a database of its patient. And he knows some of the doctors quite well. The doctors used to tell him that whenever they have a headache, they are not willing to take PANADOL (PARACETMOL). In fact,they will turn to Chinese Herbal Medicine or find other alternatives. This is because Panadol is toxic to the body, and it harms the liver. According to the doctor, Panadol will reside in the body for at least 5 years. And according to the doctor, there used to be an incident where an air stewardess consumes a lot of panadol during her menstrual as she needs to stand all the time. She's now in her early 30's, and she needs to wash her kidney (DIALYSIS) every month. As said by the doctor that whenever we have a headache, that's because it is due to the electron/Ion imbalance in the brain. As an alternative solution to cope with this matter, they suggested that we buy 1 or 2 cans of isotonic drink ( eg.100PLUS), and mix it with drinking water according to a ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 (simply, it means one cup 100plus, one cup water.or 2 cups water). Me and my husband have tried this on several occasions, and it seems to work well. Another method will be to submerge your feet in a basin of warm water so that it bring the blood pressure down from your throbbing head. As Panadol is a pain killer, the more Panadol you take, the lesser would be your threshold for pain (your endurance level for pain). We all will fall ill as we aged, for woman, we would need to go through childbirth. Imagine that we had spent our entire life popping quite a substantial amount of Panadol (Pain Killer) when you need to have a surgery or operation, you will need a much more amount of general anesthetic to numb your surgical pain than the average person who seldom or rarely takes Panadol . If you have a very high intake of Panadol throughout your life (Migraine, Menstrual cramps) it is very likely that normal general anesthetic will have no effects on you as your body is pumped full with panadol and your body is so used to pain killer that you would need a much stronger pain killer, Morphine?? Value your life, THINK b4 you easily pop that familiar pill into your mouth again.
October 04 tuesdays with Morriehmm~~ din really had in mind to get over this bk today, but today just wasnt in a mood to study. had a swollen gum next to my 'innest' tooth, which kept me wonderin if it was caused by d wisdom tooth. hmm~~ no wisdom tooth found, friend double clarified tat. so i'll just wait 1 more day n c wat happens. @ d mean time, took out "tuesdays with Morrie" n started reading non-stop. finally... finish readin =p so here's it...

Few yrs back then, it always saddens me when i know 1 day i'll die. I'll miss everyone, my family, friends, relatives etc. My body will be lying down there, so lonely, without a soul, without company. So i tell myself i wanna live life to d fullest, i wanna live happily everyday ^^
Few days ago met up with my aunty @ clementi, d usual place we had dinner d other time. Then i started askin qns, bout life, in d hospital. Believe it or not, there's afterlife. they'll actually come n invite u to another world - d afterworld. heaven or hell i'm not sure though =p but it relieves me in some way =p at least there'll still be joy or some laughter after life XD i'll be sitting with d angels laughin whole day, or maybe d demons will crack some jokes? lol~~
okie, tat was just my imagination =p tat day i actually saw a couple holding hands on d street. n believe it or not, they're actually above 50 yrs old (or somewhere ard there), which recalls me of hoho askin me to look at an elderly couple havin a drink tgt @ a coffee shop. wow~~ can u imagine how sweet is tat? ^^
